Different parts of the world have different Christmas rituals or traditions. This ranges from families either going to an intercity tree farm and selecting a Christmas tree that has already been cut and needs to simply be attached to their car to bring home; or also includes families venturing off into the country side and searching for trees in the wilderness and cutting it down themselves. Those two scenarios are typical of the Northern United States where people have to bundle up in warm clothing to venture outside.
Compared to the Southern United States which sees little temperature change and even less snow during the winter months has different traditions than their counterparts in the North. The warmer states, traditionally those which include a desert in their boundaries have the option of decorating cactus’ with different colored lights as opposed to the traditional Christmas tree.
